2nd LTT activity of our Erasmus+ KA226 With the Little Help project was held in Sofia

The second LTT activity of our Erasmus+ KA226 With the Little Help project, ref nr 2020-1-PL01-KA226- SCH-095510, was held between June 27th - July 1st in Sofia, Bulgaria.

On the first day we were greeted by the hosts, Association “Institute Perspectives”, and assisted a presentation from the international non-governmental organization Champions Factory regarding the integration of MSID students by sport activities. The Polish partners presented the content of module I" Methods for eLearning for People with special educational needs" then practical activities were carried out to understand the behavior of students with MSID.


The next day the students of the Day Center for social rehabilitation in Pravets showed us through the dance and song performance the results obtained through music therapy. Together with them we participated in an art-therapy workshop consisting of works made using the paper quilling, coloring and mosaic technique. The content of module IV " Music and Art therapy and being a citizen- community socialization by concerts an exhibitions" was presented by the Bulgarian partners. Module II" Digital development of basic literacy, arithmetic and science skills" was presented on the Moodle platform by Romania. Several participants volunteered to participate in a role play in order to highlight the role of effective communication with MSID students.


On the third day, Jakub Wolny (Poland), presented online training methods, distance education of MSID students in isolation lock downs. In Module VI "Internet safety and parents cooperation", the Spanish partners had a presentation of the eBooklet for parents. We were trained how to use the 360 degree cameras and Oculus googlees and design of a physical activation space.


On the fourth day, the Turkish partners presented Module V "Physiotherapy alternative communication through the activities carried out by MSID students". The Portuguese partners also presented us in Module VII "Soft skills and preparation for independent living" real situations that adults with MSID face in trying to have an independent life. With the help of students from the center of Pravets we tested the digital equipment, the 360 ​​camera and the Oculus glasses. For them it was the first experience with this equipment and they enthusiastically adapted to the requirements.


The last day was dedicated to ePortofolios composition through practical exercises in the Seesaw Class application. The following deadlines have been set for work tasks. The meeting ended with the evaluation and handing over of the certificates.
